        There are many factors that affect the lead smelting in the reverberatory furnace. Only targeted improvements can improve the smelting efficiency. In addition to adjusting the charge ratio, it is also crucial to improve the technical conditions of the fire wall. The height of the fire wall is determined according to the height of the flame outlet and the height of the molten pool. Since the reverberatory furnace is an intermittent operation, in the middle and late stages of production, the broken and melted refractory bricks on the top of the furnace fall onto the upper surface of the fire wall, thereby increasing the height of the fire wall. In order not to affect the normal production of the furnace at high temperatures, a hole is designed on each side of the upper wall of the fire wall when the furnace is built, so that the broken bricks can be cleaned in time. If they are not cleaned, the hole can be sealed with refractory bricks to prevent cold air from being drawn in, thereby solving the problem of the fire wall being difficult to clean up at high temperatures in normal production. When building, high-quality refractory materials (bricks, magnesium powder, brine, etc.) must be selected, and the magnesium materials must be mixed strictly in proportion. It is advisable to grab them into a ball with your hands and they will fall apart at a touch.

        Reverberatory Furnace

        The masonry is built strictly according to the requirements. Each brick is evenly covered with mud on all four sides. Two to three sheets of expansion paper are sandwiched between each layer of bricks. To prevent lead leakage, a line of defense is added. A space of 50 to 100 mm is left from bottom to top between the side of the fire wall molten pool and the fire wall water jacket. It is filled with magnesium filler to form a wall after sintering. The upper 2 to 3 layers of the fire wall can be built with refractory bricks of 300 x150x75 specifications, so that the two sides form an oblique angle to facilitate the smooth flow of flames and high-temperature smoke. The production practice has proved that the effect is very good, and the problem of lead leakage from the fire wall has been basically eliminated. By taking improvement measures in both process flow and furnace structure, the normal production of the reverberatory furnace is ensured, and the metal recovery rate in lead slag is increased from 90% to 92.5%.
